The press conference of Tianmenshan Mountain Sightseeing Tunnel Escalators’ Delivery Operation was held by Canny Elevator in the Tianmenshan Mountain in Zhangjiajie onDecember 28, 2013.

To Build the "Ladder" of Tianmenshan Mountain.

Tianmenshan Mountain, known as the first Kamiyama in Xiangxi, is famous for its rare wonders of the world -- the Tianmen cave. Tianmen cave is located above the elevation of 1300 meters of the cliff, is a high altitude mountain cave, rare, of great momentum, witnessed many extreme sports events (wing outfit flight, air force aerobatic etc.) at the miracle. Building the "ladder" of Tianmenshan Mountain gave Canny Elevator a great honor, is also a challenging project.

Customized Products

The special running conditions of the mountain tunnel needs a special design. Canny Elevator according to the idea of harmonious transportation, taking the security as the core, produces high-efficient heavy-duty escalators for the public transportation needs that can realize perfect transportation in various harsh environments. The use of special design,single section ladder length does not exceed 7.2m, the maximum lifting height of 30 meters, 0.5 meters of the rated speed, single span 60.562 meters, meets the critical demand of transportation safety for the scenic area heavy duty escalator.

Intensive Delivery Plan

With great efforts, Canny Elevator successfully delivered escalators to the the Tianmen cave job site. Facingthe critical difficulty of tunnel transportation, the escalator in the cave was moved along a slope of 897 meters, and 90 degree bend topography in tunnel, together with by artificial works, step by step finally the products wereplaced.

Another Great Creation

After more than 3 years of construction, 3 units of 20 meters and 16 units of 30 meters high heavy duty escalators, total travelling height 340m, total span 692m, had been successfully delivered and installed at the Zhangjiajie Tianmenshan Mountain scenic spot.Total escalators’ transportation capacity will be 6,000 persons per hour, 72,000 passengers per day, serving 50% more passenger flow, providing a safer, more comfortable, more convenient means of transport for the Zhangjiajie scenic area. Moreover, the escalators themselves will also become an additional special scenic spot in Zhangjiajie, have a skyrocketing rise along with thousands of tourists.
