Recently, there was good news from India DMRC that Canny Elevator had won the bid for the providing 291 units of escalators to Delhi phase III metro project among competitors. This is our second chance to support Indian Public Transportation after the Indian Railway Station project.

As one of the most important urban development construction projects, the Delhi Metro is the most effective way to solve the rising traffic problem. The third phase project contains 4 metro lines which reach to 119 miles, which are the capital’s main lines connecting Delhi, Guergang, and Noida. By 2016 on the completion of the third phase project, the total length of Delhi metro line will reach 310 miles that contains 227stations. Delhi metro will be the 7rd largest metro line system all over the world with up to 4 million people each day. In Asia, the amount of Delhi metro stations will be just behind Shanghai, Tokyo, and Seoul. The 291 units of heavy duty escalators that Canny Elevator has won the bid is planned to be delivered between 2013 and 2015.
