On October 19th, a 20-person EMBA visiting mission from Columbia University led by Professor Ronald Schramm visited Canny Elevator. Mr. Zhang Lichun, Manufacturing Operation General Manager of Canny Elevator met with the delegation, and made interactive communication with them. During the visit, the delegation visited Canny Exhibition Hall, elevator & escalator workshop and testing field of large height heavy-duty public traffic type escalator, and took 7M/S super high speed elevator independently researched into and developed by Canny Elevator.
The high standard manufacturing process and abundant technical R &D strength leaves deep impression on the delegation.
The delegation mainly consists of EMBA students from Columbia University. They came to China to visit some of the China’s homegrown leading enterprises with great growth potential in industry, communicating with China’s enterprise managers, discussing in depth for the “secret” of fast growth of Chinese local enterprises.
Canny elevator as the first listed company in domestic elevator Industry, China’s national elevator industry leading enterprise, through more than 10 years development, it has supported China’s national elevator brand in China’s elevator market which is full of foreign-funded enterprises. This caused the attention from Commercial Institute of Columbia University. Therefore they chose Canny Elevator as their first trip to China’s elevator industry.
This is not first time for Canny Elevator to make academic exchange with famous higher business school.Previously, CANNY elevator enterprise growth case, has been selected as the teaching case, entered the China Europe international business school classroom.
